I picked up the Ruin of the Salamanders yesterday. 50% background and the rest, new units and formations.

Love the new crushy tank track attacks! Only one scenario in the book. Some lovely picture spreads.

Assault Marines are now Legionaires.

Knights have better saves.

Malcadors have better armour.

Solar Super-heavies have three wounds.

Not seen any spoilers or looked too deeply, but yes. Good stuff.

Remarkably unchanged all things considered, although I love how a few of these ideas have been ret-conned into new lore (the Death Guard/Dusk Raiders colours, for example)

WIP on some 8mm scale Imperial Navy Thunderbolts for Legions Imperialis and Aeronautica Imperialis. Trying out a tip LassHammer on IG gave about base coating with Pink anything you want to paint Yellow. I think it worked.
