Ended up re-tuning the next day with the help of an app for the temperament- but still needed to make adjustments because it makes the major thirds sound TERRIBLE. Then tuned up and down by ear. I’m still having troubles wrapping my head around flattening the fifth and raising the fourth to keep everything in tune. My ear wants more pure intervals, especially major triads with root fifth third spanning the 10th. It has to sound right to my ears, but that causes problems. #equaltemperament

A440, 415, and 392 go to a tuning convention.
A=440 gives the keynote,
A=415 holds an historical seminar, and A=392 just sits in the back muttering, “I liked things better when tuning was flexible.”
