3 panel comic. A strangely dressed Stare Bear says something in Japanese. A young woman cowers in fear behind a tree. She is labeled as Clarissa and she does everything to cover up any sound she might make. Suddenly a GIANT Stare Bear walks by from behind the tree.

3 panel comic. A horde of Stare Bears chase Clarissa down. Someone in the distance calls out to her. She jumps into the doorway while her rescuer slams the door shut. He tells her she's safe!

3 panel comic. The man who rescued Clarissa begins telling her many others have made their way to their base and are hunkering down there. Clarissa asks if it's been him along keeping an eye on things. He says not quite and introduces Clarissa to a young woman named Megan (she is also labeled).

Clarissa and Megan discuss the Stare Bear attack and Megan introduces a man who was bit by a Stare Bear. He tries to brush them off and something strange begins to happen to him.
