A comic by StarBoyWebcomics posted February 4, 2026. Frame 1: Star boy is walking along a bridge on a starry night when his attention is caught by someone saying to a companion, “Look! A shooting star!” while pointing to a shooting star in the sky. Frame 2: “Quick, make a wish!” says the second person while Star Boy listens with a raised eyebrow. Frame 3: In a series of panels, we see a closeup of of the star trailing through the atmosphere with an alarmed expression, saying, “I can't escape gravity!” The star grows smaller. “It's too hot! I'm burning up!” And smaller. “I'm too young to-” The star vanishes with a poof. Frame 4: Star Boy stares into space with an expression of existential dread while behind him the couple say, “A wish made on a shooting star is sure to come true.” And, “I love shooting stars! They're so pretty.”
