a letter to Campbell's soup via their Canadian website: I noticed that you started putting a maple leaf on your website since October of 2023 and more recently on soup can labels, but on some quick research I can't see any Canadian manufacturing or canneries for soups. I called the 1-800 number and was told there was a location in Ontario of some kind, but they couldn't find an address or tell me what they made there. anyhow, my question is, very simply, how do you justify putting a maple leaf on your cans if none of the product is made in Canada?
Campbells' soup sold in Canada now has a maple leaf on the label. Their website has had a maple leaf next to their logo since October 2023.
Campbell's has not had Canadian manufacturing since 2018 when they shut down their last Canadian plant.
