That's no rock, it's a space station! I got up very early in the morning and headed to Emerald Bay, a picturesque bay at Lake Tahoe in northern California. There were no clouds, so the sunrise shot did not pan out as I was hoping for. On the way back I made a detour to nearby Fallen Leaf Lake. The road to the lake is unmaintained in winter, and it's a bumpy ride. There was no wind, which gave a beautiful mirror reflection.
