Today's #fantasticalflora tree is the Wading Purplebark. Its roots hold it out of the water during flood season, and it has rather distinctive purple bark. Another fun plant from my novel-in-progress, The Balance of Lerovia.

Today's #fantasticalflora tree is called the Twining Heartleaf. It has a trunk that splits and twists around itself, and in the Autumn, its heart-shaped leaves turn bright yellow. It's one of many plants that I've created for my novel-in-progress, The Balance of Lerovia.
