The head monk is questioning a pair of women, one older, and observes the younger woman's reactions, proving the older woman's words a lie. In the next part, Kahli, the woman who was sent to the monastery for her own protection, can't believe the lies the lady's spewing. Then the woman pinched her, setting off the younger woman's temper.
