Majima relives the memories of the past where he was made to clean Sagawas talons with meticulous care every single time they met. And if it weren’t Majima doing it, there was always another hybrid doing it. For a man as important as Sagawa, he needed to keep them constantly perfect. It’s easy to get your feet dirty when shoes don’t fit them. Every meeting is the same ritual, Majima handles Sagawas talons, wetting and washing them with soap, brushing the scales carefully, and careful not to be too harsh or too soft or make a fuss. If he did, he’d pay for it in his own blood, sharp talons. Don’t forget to dry them.
