Call me crazy, but $17 an hour sounds like a poverty wage to me. Shouldn't it be like $25 an hour or something to account for all the inflation that has taken place since the last time the federal minimum wage was increased?!

A Progressive Basic Income which has levels based on earned income and which is robust and accessible to everyone (starting at $1K and progressing upward to $2.5K for disabled and marginalized folk), combined with #FightFor25 and #SinglePayer/#USNHS, would be far better.
