There were rumors around 2007 or 2008 that Sora was gonna be featured in Versus XIII as a "Secret Boss" or some sort of "Post-game Cameo".
I can't confirm it because the magazine I read this from belonged to a School I used to go to and they would change them monthly.

The Command Menu from "Final Fantasy Versus XIII". The commands are as follows: -Empty Slot, likely a "Reaction Command" or a contextual action. -MAGIC -ITEM -SUMMON -EX-ARTS The lack of an "ATTACK" option implies that it is independent from the Command Menu and you can fight while selecting commands. [This would fall in line with the Command Deck System present in Birth By Sleep and a version of that system in the then unreleased Final Fantasy 16] Don't let the appearance of the menu fool you, this is an action RPG with no turn-based elements whatsoever.

There was a reply on that post reinforcing this by saying that "EX-Arts" would stand for "13-Arts".
Probably a reference to the 13 Royal Arms of the previous Kings of Lucis.
