scene from chapter 8 of the fic “Robin, I’m just pregnant, it’s not the end of the world!” Hotaru says as Robin trails behind her. Robin is out of work an hour before Hotaru finishes up with the daycare pick-up. Robin doesn’t mind waiting until Hotaru finishes, and other faculty members always find their banter cute. Hotaru has already shifted her wardrobe with maternity wear. Her belly is increasingly bigger day by day though she manages quite well. She is still actively working and adhering to her own shifts. Robin makes sure to watch Hotaru’s diet and refrain her from tiring herself out or staying up too late. Everyone else around her seems to be supportive with her pregnancy, which is also good for her overall mental well-being. “Just pregnant, you say!?” Robin fakes bawling. “You’re carrying my legacy!” “Someone wants to sleep on the couch again tonight, huh?” Hotaru is red to her ears. Robin cackles, dutifully following Hotaru around while she checks up on the children who have yet to be picked up.
