So, for those wondering. I’ve consumed a total of 16 fish sandwiches over the last few weeks. Mostly cause anything from a fast food place, I always get 2 sandwiches.

I think I’ve actually hit just about every single fast food place I personally can and then some.

GetGo’s Fish Sandwich Hoagie

Bun: B+ (good hoagie roll)
Fish: A- (Crispy, good beer batter)
Extras: A ( lettuce, pickles, cheese and “All American” sauce)

Verdict: A- (Decent sandwich. 16 inches total. A little heavy on the lettuce)

Sheetz Fish Sammie

Fish: C+ (3 small fish pieces. Decent quality, makes it awkward to hold/eat)
Bun: D (untoasted hamburger bun)
Extras: B+ (Lettuce, cheese, tartar.)

Verdict: C (Get the full hoagie instead)

A two-fer today

Eat N’ Park’s “Whale of a Cod” sandwich

Bun: B (Hoagie bun, soft but toasted)
Fish: B (Crispy, bordering on over cooked)
Extra’s: B (Cheddar cheese, no tartar sauce despite me ordering it)

Verdict: B. A solid sandwich.

Arby’s Crispy Fish.

Bun: B+ (Sesame bun, soft, lightly toasted)
Fish: A- (Crispy, large for the size and flavorful too)
Extras: C (tartar sauce and lettuce. Lacking something)

Verdict: B+.

Fish sandwich #4 on a Monday

Primanti Bros. Colossal fish and cheese

Bread: B+ (Italian bread. Soft but doesn’t hold up over time)
Fish: A (Gigantic. Batter dipped, gold and crispy)
Extras: B+ (Vinegar Cole Slaw, Fries and cheese. Tangy)

Verdict: A- (Almost Famous)

Burger King’s “Big Fish”

Bun: Potato bun, toasted. B
Fish: Thinner than the FoF but takes up the whole bun C+
Extras: thin tartar sauce, lettuce and pickles. No cheese. B-

Verdict: Moderately better than the Golden Arches. But not by much. B-

Number One: McDonalds Filet-O-Fish!

Bun: C (steamed. Kinda soggy)
Fish: B- (Perfectly mediocre but done well)
Extras: D (Tartar sauce taste overpowers everything. Only a 1/2 slice of cheese)

Verdict: better than a pineapple ring on a bun. C+
