Run 5 Long easy run
As I am going away tomorrow, I had to bring forward my long run to today, which is brutal after yesterday's tough speed session. I pushed through it, and it was all about time on my feet. 2 weeks to go now and a nice 2 day break from running. #fitat51

Run 2 - 5x800m 5x400m reps
Despite what the plan says on the header, it was 5! Not 4! Enough said about that. Good session, warm but very windy out there. Can tell which sets were into the wind, and not ๐ good one done, easy 5 tomorrow. #fitat51 #running

Week 12/15
Run 5 - Long easy run
21 miles. THAT was better! At mile 20 I was 17 mins quicker than last week. Needed that confidence booster after the previous two 20 milers. Weather was perfect ๐ too, so happy days. Next week 16, then 10 week after before the big 26.2! #fitat51
Not a great idea with 12 hrs rest, but my daughter is at Ponds Forge all weekend and be there for 7:30am both days, I had to run for 5 consecutive days. Nearly 50 miles. Please see my pin ๐ post for the reasons why I am putting myself through this!!! Thanks ๐ #fitat51 #running

Run 3 recovery run
Lovely fresh morning. No breeze and a perfect 6am club run. Saw a people i know as well out running. Legs felt tired after last night's 800m reps. Good rest until tomorrow's session. #fitat51 #running

10k tempo or steady??
I asked my coach, but was a bit pissed off as she didn't reply!!!
Think ive been carrying a bug all week, but managed to plough through. Bloody windy tonight as well.
Rest day tomorrow, and ready for it. Running has been my saviour. #fitat51

Undulating 5 miler in Sheffield. I forget what the hills are like!

Blustery out there! But mild and dry. Legs felt heavy from the weekend, but its done and dusted.

Good session tonight and really enjoyed it! Nice rest day tomorrow before my 4:30am 16 miler on Saturday....dont you just love marathon training!

Run 5
Easy 4 miles with 4 x 150m strides, 4 x 150m easy jog recovery, with cool down.
Very slippy out there, but was with care. The biggest shock was that yellow thing in the sky ๐ณ and blue clouds!!!!
I am now race ready for tomorrow. Let's have it ๐

Easy 5 mile + cool down
Sick of the bloody rain, compounded with fog too! Horrid but its done. Nice easy week on the run up to Wombwell 5 on Sunday.
Felt good and easy though. Ready for the short recovery tomorrow mornings 6am club.

Didn't sleep the best, but oce my body woke up, it was decent ๐ drizzle again...Just for a change! Easy week on my run up to my race on Sunday. First one in nearly 2 years. #running #fitat51
1 hour strength and conditioning ๐ช & 10 mins core/abs blast too. Come 26th April I want to be fit and ready. #fitat51
