Fokker S-11.1 PH-SLO in Royal Netherlands Air Force colours. It flew there as E-38 since 1951 for elementary flying training. During the late 1960s it joined Vliegtuigsquadron 9 of the Royal Netherlands Navy, and from 1970 it was serialled 198 until it was finally retired in 1973. It became PH-SLO in 1975 at stationed at Stadtlohn, (West-)Germany. In 2010 it moved to Teuge. The new owner will restore the aircraft back to flying condition (been grounded since 2024) and move it to Lelystad. In the picture, I fly the aircraft over the Veluwe while being photographed by Bob Fischer from a SA Bulldog.
Post #100: for over a decade I have co-owned and flown this vintage Fokker S-11. Last summer, we have sold it to a new owner. Happy memories! Me at the controls, pic by Bob Fischer.
