A piece of shrimp nestled between two halves of a vanilla sandwich cookie

It's a photo of what began as a blueberry waffle, but some of the batter stuck to the top so when I opened the waffle iron the top and bottom separated and it ripped apart. The blueberries in the batter were really macerated so the batter was a vivid purple, then the outside was crisped to a deep golden brown, and the combination of purple inside and brown outside is jarring to say the least.
