Tuesday game stream canceled, friends. #frankenpup is not feeling well after surgery and needs focused care. My apologies!
Pupdate: #frankenpup had an emergency drain put into his ear. The stitches failed because he healed faster than the liquid could drain. And he kept on healing faster than he ordinarily should have.
The irony.
Back to taking care of this poor boy while also trying to get #thorkitty to put on weight

Pupdate: #frankenpup is home! He tottered to his kennel but only after he stood up, took a step, paused, and then stood like that for three minutes.
I think he forgot what he wanted to do, and then forgot how to do anything. Flying high.

pupdate: Vet called with blood results. #frankenpup is good to start the anti-inflammatory and steroid meds to help with the drain healing. They checked his calcium levels to see if they're elevated, which would correspond with potential malignant growth, but they're normal.

This is the malaise of a #frankenpup who is very, very tired of getting poked, probed and prodded.
pupdate: He and I took the bed, Betty took the couch. #frankenpup has a nice new cone for his big head that he had zero problem throwing around all night. He's also re-learned that whining painfully gets my complete and immediate attention and care.
He's doing okay. I'm exhausted. DST has arrived.

Update: #frankenpup is very high but now safely at home and ensconced. In two weeks, he should be able to get the drain out.
A note for today's stream: I will be starting later than usual today. #frankenpup has a vet appointment that should be relatively quick, but you know how it is.

That's a $500 vet bill I wasn't expecting. Poor #frankenpup appears to have mysteriously collected several different strains of infections and bacteria in one ear. Over the course of ten days.
The world burns, but I see some things remain the same.

Got home from the emergency vet at 1am with a #frankenpup who apparently dgaf about the scratch a certain aptly named jerk black cat left on his eyeball. Cornea is ok!
I shall be streaming today, usual time-ish, tho may be a little short. The Sunny Meadows apocalypse grind won't, um, grind itself.
