The reporter accidentally used the word "hostages" when reporting that Isreal has backed down from their promise to release another 600 Palestinian "prisoners". Isreal has been harassing, kidnapping and displacing Palestinians for as long as they have occupied their land.

Posted by @standing.together.english Yesterday, two Palestinian children lost their lives at the hands of a brutal occupation — simply because they are Palestinian. Simply because they were born and raised under Israeli military rule. Twelve year old Ayman Nassar Taysir Al-Hemouni was killed by Israeli forces in Al-Kasara, south of Hebron, and thirteen year old Rimas Omar Mohammad Ammouri was killed by Israeli forces in Jenin.

This tragic news has come out amid a horrific week, where Ariel, Kfir and Shiri Bibas and Oded Lifshitz were returned to Israel after being killed in captivity. The return of these hostages has sparked new calls for revenge in Israeli society, with our leaders vowing to intensify fighting in the West Bank and to continue fighting in Gaza, particularly after explosives were found on buses in Tel Aviv.

It is not a coincidence that all of these tragic and terrifying events happen at the same time, and keep happening day after day. It is a direct result of the decisions that are made by extremist leaders across the land who insist on violence and force and refuse to choose a different path. This cycle of violence, grief and loss will continue as long as we stay on this path, and both Palestinians and Israelis will pay heavy prices.  Only peace will bring security to both peoples. Only peace will enable all of us to live with safety, freedom and equality.

How is it that Isreal can develop the technology to hack the cell phone of billionaire Jeff Bazos, but family memebers of the hostages can get cell phone messages from Hamas and Isreal can't find the hostages?
