One solution to the big hole now appearing in government finances would be to revive the idea of a #FrequentFlyerTax. It would have the added advantage of saving the need for #Heathrow expansion, and the massive environmental destruction that would cause. www.bbc.co.uk/news/science...

Would it be such a bad thing ‪@flightfreeuk.bsky.social if flying was more expensive? #cheapflights just encourage #overconsumption. #frequentflyertax is a good way to achieve this fairly.
