👃- Bubblegum, dried grass, It’s almost fizzy, weetabix, vanilla pastries.
👅- Gentle them spicy, there’s a meatiness, white pepper, ripe bananas, tinned peaches, vanilla pods.
🏁- Quite long, nice mouthfeel, remains spicy, white pepper, cinnamon. It’s a nice dram for me 🤤. #FridayDrams
It’s dram time, and my first pour is this Enigma 6yo Lowland single malt from the latest Cadenheads outrun. It’s from a Bourbon hogshead, it’s 60.2% ABV, and is £55 a bottle. Basic notes coming shortly. #FridayDrams

What a line up! Post bed time #FridayDrams - the 70's Jameson's more than holds it's own vs. the Powers Gold Label. Even at 40% the former is rounder & offers more of that characteristic custard sweetness I always find on Irish whiskies; the latter still a lovely, albeit more youthful dram.
