Bulbs played on my gnome plant pot next to the Spindle tree pot.
Climbing plant for the wall and bulbs plated in the bed. Left the dead seeds heads for now as still have value for wildlife.
Needed cheering up so a trip to the garden centre for some Spring bulbs and flowers for the front garden. 🪴 #frontgarden #bulbs

My mum’s front garden is still looking lovely and being enjoyed by bees and butterflies. It’s been an even drier than usual summer for her in East Kent though, so she’s considering creating a more drought tolerant planting scheme.

I’ve been busy. I’ve had to do a bit of writing of sermons and lectures. Hot days = gardening for 2 hours before dawn finishing when the sun clears the trees. Still, pleased how the front bed is going. Here’s a view from the front window. Have a safe week.
