attending #FSNNA this past weekend was such a joy :)) this semester has been especially difficult but seeing familiar faces and meeting new friends was so wonderful !! loved hearing about all the fannish projects and i am looking forward to next year where i will hopefully present !!

four day conferences are a lot for me. I really appreciate the breaks that #FSNNA have built in this year - there's basically an hour gap between every main panel and it has made it way more doable for me than I expected. I missed a couple of sessions last night due to fatigue but that's it! <3

Looking forward to finally being able to attend this year's #FSNNA today! I was going to hop in yesterday but ended up having a really lovely afternoon out with my mother in Pontypridd where we sat in the park, found a new Italian restaurant in the market and I saw my friend's new tattoo studio.

been so excited for the Jenkins talk at #FSNNA! loving the idea of collaborative book writing that is still engaged with positionality - where he and co-author Kozinets can still share their experiences as part of the book, engage that experience of being a fan, but also have the usual shared voice.

what a powerful opening to #FSNNA 24. hugely grateful to everyone speaking on critical fan studies - some of whose work I've followed and some who are new to me - for bringing such bravery, vulnerability and wisdom. there's so much here for me that resonates with disability in fandom, & ableism.
