The finished pieces. I did not have a purple glaze like the one we had on his wall but this was close enough.

The original mural. Much more difficult to paint than I would have imagined as you cannot turn your canvas or paper to get those angles right. It was based on one of my flower power "No more war" paintings. My son loved that so much, he wanted it on his wall.. I obliged :) #motherlove
When our son moved out, he could not take his mural with him and as the room was repurposed for my elderly mum, it had to go. Last year I made him a ceramic mural book nook for his birthday. It was an emotional one.
