Pigdog Z The Z is a high end replica of the mid to late 60s John Hornby Skewes manufactured and distributed ‘Zonk Machine’. The Zonk Machine featured 3 Germanium transistors and was very likely inspired by the MKI Tone Bender, though with pronounced treble and harmonic content.
Gut shot of the Pigdog Z showing the Vero Board circuit faithfully replicating the Zonk Machine from the mid to late 1960s.
My current pedalboard. The Z is one of the best fuzz pedals for use with humbucking pickups and sounds incredible with a Les Paul.
