The artist Robert Richter Parks (1950-1996) was the lead artist and responsible for the amazing pixel art of Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos (1993).

The Legend of Kyrandia 3: Malcolm's Revenge was developed by Westwood Studios and released in 1994. While novel back then, the 3D-rendered backgrounds were a step back from the gorgeous pixel art of the previous two games.
