I heard it's #FishFriday &, coincidentally, we went to see the salmon run on #GanaraskaRiver this afternoon in #PortHope Ontario! Here's one of the big lads 👇🏻

A female Ring-necked Duck is seen swimming on the surface of a body of water.  The duck is positioned in profile view, with its head turned slightly towards the viewer's right. Its plumage is a mix of dark brown, reddish-brown, and grayish tones, characteristic of the species. The water has a muted, brownish-gray color. Ripples and subtle surface patterns suggest a gentle current or movement within the water. The background is out of focus, but there's a vague suggestion of a bank or shoreline in the far distance, also muted in tone.
