I’ve actually used my PASGT way more than my bump helmet or the IBH because it’s so simple and easily modular. There are tons of PASGT covers and you can just toss MICH covers on it, too.

Here’s how my vest setup for a big milsim I went to this past weekend works. Osprey that gets loaded up pretty heavy for day one and then day 2, the bag unclips and a micro rig is inside to turn into a lighter chest rig system. Works great!

Woodland US Cold War kit. It’s an LBV-86 instead of the standard suspenders, but idk if that would ever have gotten paired with a PASGT helmet. Might have to go Panama and use a steel pot. Also I need an M16A1 to swap some furniture
