A fairy strewn with tiny blue flowers sits between the antlers of a very startled looking jackalope. Like the forget me not flowers, the eyes of the jackalope (a hybrid of deer and hare) are bright turquoise blue. The dress of the fairy is yellow and orange like the interior of the flowers.

For #artadventcalendar one of my larger pieces 'Forget Me Not'. This one I did for #ghostwolfgallery show 'Women's Work' this year. I think the antlers and tiny details on the piece gave the gallery curators/owner nerve problems (I am sorry). #art #jackalope #forgetmenot #fairy
