Concerning to see GivEnergy go into administration. I got my home battery system from them. Whilst their customer service was a bit flakey, the web app was useful and the updates to the inverter were welcome.
Hopefully it still works ok locally.

You know whats better than a home lithium-ion battery? Thats right TWO batteries. 19kwh of storage oh yes indeed. Plus we have 2 uninterruptible battery-powered sockets in the living room now. Looking forward to smugly brewing coffee during the power cuts. #givenergy #batteries

We didn’t use Octopus but have a #GivEnergy battery and inverter which Octopus also use. Looking at forums, it seems GivEnergy is great unless you have a dodgy battery (we have). Ours kept discharging itself, but there’d be no record of it going to the grid. 1/2
