With the Act One locations now occurring in the Chinese restaurant, the office, in cars, in a potential customer's home and in another restaurant, the film completely makes you not even think this was a play in the first place.

To me, this is the greatest play-to-film adaptation ever. And, a lot of that is because Mamet beautifully rearranged, added to and opened up the play for the film. The play has two locations, Act One in the Chinese restaurant and Act Two in the office.
