Das stimmt: Für #Golda Meir könnte sich alles so dargestellt haben. Was gut wiedergegeben wurde: Wie der junge Panzergeneral #Scharon kaum zu zäumen war. Dasselbe mit maximalem Schaden passierte ja später im #Libanon (Einmarsch bis #Beirut statt „Pufferzone“). Scharon hatte sogar PM #Begin betrogen.
Als Film ist #Golda sicher sehenswert.
Meisterleistung von Helen #Mirren.
ABER:
Die Tatsache, dass #Sadat den Krieg von vornherein als begrenzt geplant hatte, nachdem #Israel nach dem #Sechstagekrieg 1967 arrogant & siegestrunken alle Angebote ausschlug, wurde geschichts-verzerrend ausgeblendet.

Phantastisch gespielt, tolle Kamera, großartige Regie - Halt einfach ein richtig gutes Geschichtsdrama vor dem Hintergrund des Jom-Kippur-Krieges (wobei sich quasi alles am Schreibtisch abspielt, also nix für Kriegsfilm-Fans).
Empfehlung, Note 1!
Helen Mirren was excellent, Liev Schreiber was awesome but I found myself somewhat underwhelmed by #Golda:
