Why I Broke Up with New York Most people accept the city’s chaos as a toll for an expansive life. It took me several decades to realize that I could go my own way.

I’ve think I’ve been waiting for Lena Dunham’s #GoodbyeToAllThat since she first appeared as a writer to watch, one so tightly tethered to New York. Probably it will get mocked or spoofed, but I found it to be quite funny and disarming.
