I'm halfway through watching The Count of Monte Cristo (2024) and it's absolutely bloody brilliant TV! There are 8 episodes and they look beautiful. And a few familiar faces. Just love the story. The book has been on my list for ages, but at least not I've seen it. Defo recommend

Ok I finished The Residence this evening and it was great! So if course it got cancelled 😭
Clever. Fast paced. Loved the dialogue. Loved how they spiced scenes together to weave a narrative. And great characters and actors

Ted Danson was great in it & nice to have a cast of older people
And Marc Evan Jackson who played Shawn in The Good Place was in it (not flattening penises)
