Two dark brown mottled butterflies joined in copulation. I think they are tree graylings.

This pair of tree graylings (we think) caught my eye on my run today. They would fly a bit, then settle, fly a bit, then settle - joined all the while.
I apologise to them for the intrusion. 🦋🦋
