We found two dead stag beetles, one male and one female, in a oak woodland of the #quercusorocantabrica / #quercusrobur complex in #portugal. Truly extraordinary creatures! 🧪

I found a female greater stag in my apartments backyard (they're invasive where I live) So now I have a lil beetle fren that will be with us till the end of the summer.

Her name is Bestie 🥺
