I always appreciate an audience so this is a welcome opportunity. We were told that this next trial involves all of us facing each other clashing swords and engaging in non lethal combat as a means to display our strength. I do not know who my opponent will be but I certainly hope they give me all that they have in terms of power and skill.” Panel 2: Spada and Claidheamh Mòr are seen standing on a balcony in the arena Spada looks jolly while Claidheamh Mòr looks stoic Spada: “People of Fherracanna! It is with great pleasure that ya have all gathered here today to witness the sparring of not one but TWO angels locked into proving who possesses the greatest blade!” Panel 3: Mirabelle is seen standing in the arena with a side profile, Spada announces her to the audience Spada: “Coming in from my right, we have a noble guardian cast down from the heavens, despite her hardships, she holds an unwavering heart with hope in her soul and “Heavenly Hellslayer” in hand, she is the fallen angel, Mirabelle!”

Panel 4: Mirabelle is seen looking up with a slightly surprised expression Mirabelle: “Did I hear that correctly? Another angel? I came to the conclusion that I was the only one of my kind participating in this tournament but alas, I thought wrong.” Panel 5: A shadowy figure appears in front of Mirabelle, who is standing right in front of her Panel 6: Abaddon is seen standing by an open passage Spada: "And from the left of me, the pale star who walks among the living, who knows no fear, empathy or mercy, known for tearing down an entire district with their bare hands, we have the foretold angel of the abyss, Abaddon!” Panel 7: Mirabelle has a look of abject horror on her face with a wide eye stare Mirabelle: "This is an angel? Good lord, they look more like a demon." Panel 8: Mirabelle and Abaddon are seen in the middle of the arena with their weapons ready at arms Spada: “I want to see a clean and fair match ya hear? Not one of ya shall take a life or else Claymore here shall have to punish ya! Contestants, ready your blades! BEGIN!"

Panel 9: Abaddon swings their scythe at Mirabelle, Mirabelle dodges quickly Mirabelle: "Whoa!" Panel 10: Abaddon continues to swing the scythe, Mirabelle ducks and avoids it Mirabelle: "How ferocious..." Panel 11: Mirabelle clashes her sword with the scythe and is visibly struggling to hold it off Mirabelle: “This power… It's much more awesome than mine… How is this possible?” Panel 12: Mirabelle is kneeling on the ground with her sword stabbing through it Mirabelle: “This is looking hopeless… My strength is beginning to diminish and I don't think I can continue fighting…”

Panel 13: Mirabelle is in a dark void, a voice off screen begins to talk to her in her mind ????: “Faltering so soon are we? Such pathetic nonsense.” Mirabelle: “Who's there? Show yourself!” ????: “You needn’t know who I am, we are already connected by each other and you are the lesser of the two.” Mirabelle: “Lies! I hardly know you and you're too much of a coward to face me in person!” ????: “Ah, but you are sorely mistaken. For I am within the depths of your very soul and I can read you like a book from cover to back.” Panel 14: Mirabelle stands up with an angry expression on her face Mirabelle: “ENOUGH!!! I will not submit to your will! I walk my own path and you are naught but a mere obstacle! Begone!” Panel 15: The camera gets closer to Mirabelle's face, a blue flame appears over her left eye ????: “Your attempts to thwart me off are pitiful. It is inevitable that you will bow down and become one with me. Give up and face the truth.” Mirabelle: "I..." Panel 16: Mirabelle suddenly erupts into blue flames in the middle of the area Mirabelle: "REFUSE!!!!!" Spada: “Good lord! What happened to Mirabelle?! She's suddenly gone into spontaneous combustion! Is this the end of her life???” Claymore: “Don't fret. The flames are dying off, look.”

Through an arduous battle, she almost falls to her knees but awakens a new power in the process...

Panel 2: Tank thinks to herself with her hand to her chin. She thinks "I could request something smaller. Although..." Panel 3: Tank looks around the forest at her fellow competitors, considering each one. Her thoughts are as follows: Soffi - "The Armorer... Tall for an elf, and strong to boot. Not quite what I need though." Eoin - "The Bog Knight... An enigmatic figure, doubt I'm worth her time here..." Pado - "The Veteran... Experienced, but not especially strong... I think." Blitz - "The Swift... Wrong skillset." Bea - "The Bee... Not a competitor, but I've seen she's handy with a hammer." Caliburn - "The Unbreakable... Strong. Maybe too strong. Potential for overshoot?" Doug - "The Blademaster... ...He seems busy." Golem - "...are we allowed to ask the Golems for help?" Thunder - "The Thunderous... Bumbles with his blade, but is quite powerful otherwise... plus..." Panel 4: Tank looks back to the immense log and begins to formulate a plan. A simple diagram is shown representing her thoughts - Thunder throws her into the air, Bea hits her with a hammer, sending Tank careening into the giant log, where she'll slice it to pieces. Tank thinks to herself "Hm. Perhaps..." Panel 5: Having made up her mind, Tank turns towards Bea and Thunder, asking "Pardon me, Bee and Thunderous. If I may trouble you for a moment?" Doug is seen attempting to speak with a Golem in the background, while Caliburn walks away from the interaction.

She thinks to herself "This was a great plan." Panel 4: Thunder throws Tank as hard as he can, letting up a loud "HUP!" as Tank flies towards the top of the log. Panel 5: Bea is seen floating high above the log with her honey hammer in hand, exclaiming "Here she comes!" as Tank hurtles towards her. Panel 6: Bea raises her hammer high, preparing to swing. Panel 7: Bea hits Tank downward, letting out a large THWACK, and sending Tank careening towards the enormous log at even greater speed.

As combatants pass by Ko-Tara hatches a scheme to make a killer entrance. *Aura Farming!* Shooting herself via her crystal form through the stands to appear in a flash of light!

"Two Dummies?" Ko-Tara mutters as she regains consciousness, emerging from a cocoon of vines. "I am Ko-Tara, behold my Elemental Blade: The Etheral Edge!" She declares as she slammed her fist against her armor, forming the hilt in her hand. She hypes herself up 'C'mon KT, don't think, just let the glow flow..' (A common saying for elementals in the Toniverse!) And before she knows it, the dummies are decapitated! She hopes that was a sufficent performance. As her eyes were closed for maximum aura farming.
