The huge Black Wall St. mural in Tulsa, OK. Within the letters are painted scenes of the once vibrant commercial district and the 1921 White Supremacist massacre that destroyed it.
On our Route 66 #RoadTrip in October we made a special point of stopping in #Tulsa to see the #GreenwoodAve #BlackWallStreet Memorial and Cultural Center. I post this photo of a #mural there for #BlackHistoryMonth. Don’t let the criminals who’ve stolen the government erase history.
