The tragic hit and run on November 13th is sadly just one of many incidents of reckless driving that are endangering our community. So many of us have worked independently to reach out to the St. Paul Police Department, city leadership, MNDOT, etc. to try and make things safer and have seen no results. It is well past time for Saint Paul to step up. We will host a memorial and community gathering near the site of the accident (St. Anthony and Aldine) on Monday, November 17th at 5:13PM (the approximate time of the incident) to honor the life of the young woman who was killed and urge the city to take action to address pedestrian safety and reckless driving.
