A tall mechanical figure, consisting entirely of two large shields used as stilts - with a body hanging between them in joints and wires. The entire thing is black, and a bit shiny - with white decals here and there.

View from the back. Hanging wires. Each stilt has a small cylindrical engine or something, at the bottom.

Failed to fall asleep, painted a mech.
The overall idea is inspired by a fuzzy memory of a (completely different) walker from Biomega.
The base model, is the "arms" of Bunyip Ginga kit.

A heavy walker, in pale sandy colour of a modern tank, with one side and a kneepad repainted in trans pride flag colours (with an anarchy symbol over it). There's a soldier standing next to it for comparison. The walker is about 5.5 meters tall.
Side view - the painted side. There is cargo loaded onto opened supportive elements in the back - including a large metal crate, an AC box and a military backpack.
View from the other side: the weapons are here, twin-linked enormous autocannon. A dark blue plastic barrel can be seen among the cargo. There are white markings on the armour, including a lengthy caution and EFSF with a logo next to it.
View from what I would consider the front. A bit more decals here and there, and a better look at broken road on the ground.
And now, for something completely different (yet another 28mm mech)
This one is based on a 30MM Baskyorotto kit, with arms removed. Surprisingly good kit, boxart doesn't do it justice (it looks kind of short there, I was expecting a smaller thing).

A large futuristic mech, down on one knee, without arms, sprouting a red leathery wing. The pilot is a grotesque mess of flesh, suffering. The mech itself is of pale, indistinct colour, that would be teal if it was saturated enough to consider it. There are several elements painted in black and yellow hazard stripes. A human figure stands next to the model, providing scale. The mech would be 13cm to the top of the pilot, if it stood upright.

Two models of robots of slightly different sizes: - both have two legs and narrow bodies protruding forward, the larger has a single arm - both have black frame with white parts on top of it, and a bunch of combat equipment The bases are decorated as broken asphalt with yellow stripes.

A tall, mechanical figure - with a fleshy lump of a pilot visible at the top. The parts are in mismatched colours: pale green, pale blue, orange and dusty, but saturated pink. The figure has one shoulder pad (left shoulder), and two reasonably scaled swords.
Side view. Not much to see, but there's a cool industrial decal on its shin.
View from the back. Right shin has two clean decals with white hazard stripes. There is a fleshy waist, with an exposed spine. No blood (I thought to, but forgot).
View from the left - orange plate on the thigh and pink arm armour really pop.
Yet another 30MM robot - converted into something else, with no specific plan along the way.

A large robot, heavily weathered and painted in a variety of colours (pale blue and pale orange, primarily), hunched under the weight of a giant shoulder-mounted cannon. There is a person next to it, and the robot is about three times taller.
Closer look at the robot. Its right arm is covered in stripe patterns, a few squares of ork writing system are visible.
View from the back. A mess of cables and rusted panels, with more squares of writing.
View from the side - the shoulder-cannon is most visible here.
To put previous post in context, THIS is what I enjoyed making.
The ratio of interesting-things-to-uninteresting-weapons is completely different. And the weapons look appropriately sized.

A very tall (14cm!) converted Eldar walker. Primarily, parts of a Gundam kit, a little bit from elsewhere, and a lot of putty. The leg "bones" are fully scratchbuilt, jut a plastic rod and putty.
