The #Hadhad family were successful #chocolatiers in Syria, running a thriving chocolate business in Damascus for over 20 years. In 2012, their factory was #bombed during the #Syriancivilwar.
The family fled to #Lebanon and lived as #refugees for years before resettling in #Canada in 2016.
