Hagswalk – Mentioned In Despatches Valli adjusted the cuff of his shirt and glanced at the notebook in front of him. Outside the window he could see the bustling market square beside the rail station, and the noise of barkers and entertainers that went with it. He always treated himself to a cooled glass of wine when finishing a report. The Golden Dragon always had his preferred tipple on ice when a train came in, just in case.

Hagswalk – A Conspiracy Emerges The question most pressing for Katya's attention has been: why would someone sabotage supplies to the Amberhammer Hold? What initially seemed to be either bad luck or an accident now took on more sinister tones. Dinner on the lightning rail had been an opportunity to circulate and get to know some of the key travellers on this journey. Some were simple enough to clear from suspicion - some young goblins travelling to Cragwar for a romantic getaway, a halfling chef working for House Ghallanda who had been relaying new recipes and scouting for new franchise locations, a gnomish clerk rotating out of the House Sivis outpost, and a travelling wizard who was guilty of mansplaining but little else.

Hagswalk – Arrivals The daily Lightning Rail arrival at Newhold was particularly anticipated today. It had been another bright morning and the sun's heat was particularly fierce at this elevation. The platform bustled with activity. Fresh deliveries of grain, and winter supplies, were due. In recent years the local communities had made do. Newhold had once held the name Flower Town in honour of its fertile territory.

Tokens Round-Up: The Fireclan Urchins I wrote about the Urchins in a couple of recent Lore Drops for the Hagswalk game. While they started as a throwaway names and figures to add some texture to the game, these five young goblins have refused to retreat into the shadows. I mostly just wanted to use them to lay down some foreshadowing for the sessions to follow, but they seem to have had other ideas.

Moments from The Fair Ariana's Travelling Fair had arrived from the Southern Road a couple of days ago, shaken the travelling dust from its boots and canvas, and set up on the edge of a small woods near the Welcome Arms Inn's back yard. The owners hailed from Darguun, the newly-fledged goblin Thronehold nation, and felt the cover of the trees above their tents lessen the sting of sunlight on sensitive eyes.

Fire Clan Fair Shenanigans Bokko, Snaggle, Bibble, Yesh, Klicky, and Anty peered out from the bushes at the brightly coloured carts, tents, and people. There were exotic smells among the torchlight and calls in a number of different languages. Stalls were being built, stoves installed, stages constructed, and banners unfurled. They bore the words: "Ariane's Travelling Fair" The goblin youths all had their hair spiked in the orange and red of the Fireclan.
