Transport workers need your help urgently Mass leafleting from 11am Friday 18th July Meet us at Bus stop F Liverpool Street Station We will be leafleting members of the public asking them to contact TFL to demand they TURN ON the air cooling/con systems on the transport buses and trains, give additional break to drivers & ensure they have access to cool water.

25 years ago I was asked to do a job in a computer room with a glass roof in August. It was then that I discovered there is no legal maximum temperature for a workplace. Since then Labour and Tories have each been power and neither had bothered to institute one. Let's hope #HeatStrike does it.

It’s crucial in this ongoing heatwave that drivers are not punished for refusing to drive a bus with broken air con.
Bus drivers, like all workers should be able to do their jobs in reasonable and safe conditions and not be left sweltering in oven-like heat.

Too hot for cows? Then it's too hot for us!
This weekend with #heatstrike we took a 'cow' onto the Underground to show that London isn't made for this heat.
Cows can't be transported in outside temperatures over 30C, yet some tube lines are reaching 35C in this heat.
