Or the summer a distant cousin ambushed a waiter at the station café and swallowed a croissant whole while I just watched and wondered. Another cropped photo of the same gull, this time at a side-on angle. It's picking up a crumb somebody threw him. It wasn't me, as I didn't have anything edible about me, and I don't think she/he has the healthiest of diets anyway. It has made this bus stop its dining place, and It seems fearless to the heavy traffic about 😬

We have tiny floofs on the opposite roof. It's poor numbers this year, they are close to the edge and people are cruel to our seagulls, despite them being protected. The protection has no teeth. My heart is anxious for them. Please send them good vibes. #herringgulls #birds #redlist #fluffy
