find the right part. Appliance pro's web site was easy to maneuver, and I was able to find a lid switch that would do the trick. I did watch appliance pro's video on how to repair the lid switch, and had my husband watch it after I'd ordered the part. I asked him if he thought he could do it, because the second time I watched the video I thought maybe it was more complicated that l'd thought....he said no! I said think of how proud you'll be if you fix it! So he brought the lap top down to the basement and went step by step, fixed it, did a couple of loads of wash....and spent the rest of the weekend telling everybody he fixed the washing machine! He did give credit where credit is due, to me for diagnosing the problem correctly, and ApplianceParts pro.com for their clear and concise how to video.
Im going to get so much hetero lore while I fix my washing machine #hesaidno
