Council chiefs hope powers to force landlords to rent out empty shops will breathe new life into high streets - Lichfield Live® Council chiefs say local high streets will get a boost thanks to new powers to sell off leases for shops that have sat empty for a long period of time.

I hope these new powers will be used well by Lichfield District Council. After 14 years of neglect of high streets and the cost of living crisis we need to revitalise our high streets And support local communities.
