So, here I am facing some stock with my Cubiko (later to be used as the case for a yarn counter I'm working on), I start the program, and an extremely stunned sawdust-covered housefly comes flapping out of the mechanism and drops to my desk.
I am no expert in housefly expressions, but I'm […]

I don't think I've ever listened to Lush but my niece and nephew love them.

Old plastic cutting boards are made from HDPE and should be pretty good for practicing #hobbyCNC milling or objects which don't need too much strength or precision, I read.
I can probably use these #hobbyCNC router bits for a mototool as long as I treat them gently?
The challenge is if you don't use #hobbyCNC but only the 3 letters, that is an acronym for something NSFW. The goal is to figure out some hashtags that are Safe For Work.
BlenderCAM is an add-on for Blender 3D specific to milling and carving. I think maybe #CAM is a good computer aided manufacturing hashtag to go along with #hobbyCNC or does CAM mean something else too?
So, I wish I could find the video about #hobbyCNC where the guy shows how to use masking tape to cover the spoil board, then making tape on the back of the material to be milled, then gluing them together. I know it is not always appropriate but wow so much easier than clamping.
So there you go: lesson 1 of #hobbyCNC is "use a chisel". I could have used a chisel here and saved a lot of time.
Sent the first signals to the #hobbyCNC machine from the computer. Luckily I got the one with the big red stop button. Reading instructions again now.
I'd use that as well, #hobbycnc because yeah apparently sometimes words have two meanings. It would probably be tricky to make a bluesky Feed that managed to filter everything out, because not eveyrone labels their not SFW stuff, but I wish someone would. There must be a few hundred hobbyists here.
For those looking to get into hobby CNC woodworking, this is a good option for small projects. Comes with offline controler, probe, emergency stop! amzn.to/3D3ZFbS #ad
