A new study shows: Planned home births are as safe as planned birth centers for low-risk pregnancies! Community births (birth center or home) now comprise 1 in 50 births in the US. Planned home births have been shown to be as safe as planned birth center births for low-risk pregnancies. This research shows that current guidelines advising against planned home births should be changed!
The National Institute of Health has found that home births are just as safe as community center births for low-risk pregnancies!
