A Summary of what Cosmik is. Cosmik comes from the Calamity Comet, a galactic phenomenon where a comet similar to the Prankster Comet appears.When a Calamity Comet appears at a certain galaxy, an invasion of Cosmic Clones (led by Cosmik) forms within, making a mess out of it by pure chaotic malevolence. It's rate of apparition is COMPLETELY random. It can appear once per year, twice per months, three times per weeks, ANYTIME. Wich has a tendency to put galaxies on edge. The only reason why it didn't show up during the events of Mario Galaxy 2 is because, due to it's unpredictable rate of apparition, it just didn't show up at that time.
Cosmik himself: Cosmik is a part of the Calamity Comet taking a physical form. He is regarded as a leader by the other Cosmic Clones due to his skills and sentience, For despite being a Cosmic Clone, Cosmik has it's own free will instead of being a mindless form mimicking Mario. Cosmik is arrogant, cocky and sometimes foul-mouthed, thinking that his position and the Calamity Comet's reputation being passed onto him allows him to do whatever he wants.He also has quite the nasty temper, often getting irritated when things don't go his way. Facts: -One thing he holds dear is the value of freedom, he hates being hindered with what he can and cannot do. -Despite his arrogance, he mainly uses it for taunts and banters, often trying to balance it with vigilance when he goes against someone. - Due to being a Cosmic Clone, Cosmik can mimick to almost perfection any movement he sees (Think of it as like Taskmaster's ability.) He oftens mimick Mario to mock him, more on that later.
Cosmik and Mario: When they first encountered, Cosmik didn't take him very seriously, how could him, this round plumber of a man who talks funny be a nuisance of any kind ? When they began to fight, he acknowleged Mario's surprising abilities but dismissed it as luck and took it lightly. He'll NEVER make the same mistake twice. After this humiliating beatdown, Cosmik was enraged, his smile faltering for the very first time. How ? How could this fat Italian and his jumps be able to beat him ? Needless to say, he developped a boiling hatred for the plumber and anyone who sides with him. Every time Cosmik shows up, Mario is always there to pummel him and make him eat the dirt, his resentment growing with each blows, each defeat. He developped an obsession with the hero and is determined to one day beat the crap out of him.
