It's strange that my consultant now knows more about my declining mental health than my GP and my complete lack of trust and resignation I felt regarding NHS mental health services and the abysmal experiences I went through with them. 3/

I was sent to have a chest X-ray done immediately after the appointment, and I just need to wait for the appointment letters for an ultrasound of my hands and knees, and also for another cortisone injection, as the arthritis is really active there. 2/

My hospital appointment yesterday went better than I expected. 🙏 I told my consultant everything I previously said to one of the difficult specialist nurses. A fifth-year medical resident was also there—she was pleasant and didn't give any "uppity" vibes. 1/
