The front cover to the 1986 Queen album A kind of Magic (sic). It depicts the four band members (with Freddie Mercury in the centre foreground) in an extremely 1980s exaggerated cartoon style wearing jackets with shoulderpads but no shirts, smiling and dancing on a black background, liberally splattered with tiny stars, rockets and explosions of the sort you would expect from modern emoji options. The colour pallet is a light blue for the skin of the bands, a bright yellow for Mercury's jacket, a subdued orange for his bandmates jackets and a slightly smoky red for their tiny legs.
That trivia makes me smile widely and love the movie even more, a VERY high bar!
I still have the A Kind of Magic album on vinyl, and with the exception of the first song, it's just Highlander songs.
That first song is instead from Iron Eagle starring Michael Ironside. #HowVery #SuchEighties
